A new online resource- a beautifully designed website for  the yoga community .  I just came across the site , and I am still checking out the content, but wanted to pass on the info.  It seems to be a very big effort, and could possibly be the newest single source of yoga related information. Especially helpful are the links to retreats and workshops in different cities. It is yummy.

I was looking for inspiration for “yoga-inspired” paint colors for my apartment and came across this wonderful online resource called Apartment Therapy. Not only did I get some ideas but I discovered that the site had a great community feel and offered fantastic ideas for apartment dwellers.

Just a note: Another great resource for the latest trends in interior colors is the ColorAssociation.

If you don’t know Seane Corn, here’s a chance to get to know her better with a highly rated YouTube video clip. She is an amazing yoga teacher and an even more amazing advocate for bringing yoga “off the mat”. I heard she is also originally from New Jersey ( yeah Jersey!).

Do some yoga with Seane.

About Seane: “Seane Corn is co-creator, with Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling, of the Off the Mat, Into the World™ campaign, a program that aims to inspire and guide you to find and define your purpose and become active in your local or global community in an effective, sustainable, and joyful way. She also created the yoga program at the California based Children of the Night, a shelter that houses and educates adolescent prostitutes. As a National Yoga Ambassador, Corn is also a dedicated activist for YouthAIDS, whose mission is to raise funds, provide services, and spread national awareness surrounding this global emergency. : Omega website

This is a remarkable book. The author is Professor John Meda , MIT Media Lab http://lawsofsimplicity.com.

“As for the grand challenge of the modern simplicity movement, it is to not become overzealous about the need to simplify. Thus the Fifth Law (differences) extolls the need for balance: Simplicity and complexity need each other.” J. Meda
